The following information is in regards to Avant Display’s implementation of the European REACH regulation for articles governing product components, sub-assemblies, and substances like chemicals, mixtures or preparations.

REACH Regulation

Avant Display supports the objectives of REACH to further improve the European Union’s regulation on chemicals, including the objective to advance public health and safety.

Information on SVHC’s

Avant Display has investigated all of its raw materials and supplied parts relative to Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), and determined that these substances are not incorporated into any of our processes or products above threshold concentrations. Please note, however, that the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), will regularly update the Candidate List of SVHC, and that exploration by SVHCs in Avant Display’s products is an ongoing process in which Avant Display’s suppliers are also involved.

REACH DECLARATION

1. Avant Display confirms that we understand our obligations under REACH.
2. Where the manufacturing of a chemical substance takes place outside the EU, Avant Display will ensure that you, our customer, does not need to act as the importer under REACH.
3. Avant Display´s products do not contain substances on the list of “Substances of Very High Concern” as published by the
European Chemicals Agency, ECHA has again, in accordance with article 59 (10), extended the Annex XIV candidate list of substances of very high concern for authorisation (SVHC) as of ECHA.
4. We confirm that we comply with all relevant marketing and use restrictions pursuant article 59 of REACH, 14.06.23 "Candidate List of substances of very high concern for Authorisation".

FTI's role is to provide all companies with access to the nationwide recycling system, which is designed to simply and efficiently meet producer obligations.

REPA and FTI

REPA's operations where transformed to FTI — Förpacknings- och Tidningsinsamlingen (Packaging and Newspaper Collection) in August 1, 2007. In practice, this does not involve any change for customers in REPA. REPA will be retained as a brand and is now a subsidiary of FTI.
